We saw a thing on City Line about introducing a training potty to your kid at an early age so they learn that it is to be used in the bathroom and it isn't a toy and they don't take the pot out and put it on their head etc, etc, etc.

so we bought a potty and Jim and Judy have the same one and one day, right before father's day, Brody actually peed in the potty! it has yet to happen again

anyway, while in the bathroom, Brody has also found the taps and great they are, so the potty now has 2 functions...

Ok, so he isn't really using the potty like it is designed, but Brody has (almost) learned the importance of washing his hands in the washroom. I am also working on the importance of putting the seat down...

playing in the kitchen is a favorite past time. This was just a few weeks ago (mid-may) when Brody figured out that the one mixing bowl is a perfect size for a hat!

This was at the end of April. We try to let Brody feed himself, but it makes such a mess. He actually does pretty good.

I have been a little lacking when it comes to posting video lately - I apologize for that! Anyway I will post a few to keep you happy!

This was back at the end of February when Brody was just first getting good at walking more than a few steps. I had to keep backing up so that he would keep walking. My favorite is the random inhale squawk at the end. I don't know why he does that, but it always makes me laugh

a pot of water and some "drumsticks" - genius!

He was playing nicely and I wanted to get a video of that - but instead he showed off some walking!

Brody shows his incredible strength while eating cheerios. the poor cheerio didn't even see it coming!
